Deck overview

This deck combines Cat and Zombie tribal synergies under Olag and Miau, New Friends to build wide boards that pressure opponents through combat and life drain. Early turns deploy cheap, resilient threats and ramp. Once the commander arrives, every entering Cat buffs a Zombie and every entering Zombie buffs a Cat, creating an escalating board presence. The primary victory route leverages the commander's end-step ability alongside Throne of the God-Pharaoh, draining each opponent based on your tapped creatures. Supported by sticky recursive threats like Gravecrawler and Sacred Cat, plus token generators like Leonin Warleader and Felidar Retreat, the deck steadily grinds down opposing life totals. Targeted removal in Abzan colors handles problematic permanents, while cards like Flawless Maneuver and Kutzil safeguard critical combat steps.
