Angels and Enchantments by KingONerds

Format: Commander

Commander: Ravos, Soultender and Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan midrange deck pairs Ravos, Soultender and Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood to fuel a potent lifegain and Angel token strategy. Early turns focus on mana acceleration and setting up soul sisters or enchantment engines like Sythis, Harvest's Hand and Black Market Connections. Gilanra accelerates and cantrips off high-cost threats, while Ravos continually recovers key creatures and buffs the board. The primary win condition is overwhelming opponents in combat with an evasive army of flying Angels produced by cards such as Angelic Accord, Valkyrie Harbinger, and Sigil of the Empty Throne. Secondary win paths weaponize excess life totals directly via Enduring Tenacity, Aetherflux Reservoir, or Bolas's Citadel.
