Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is the commander, but the deck is built as an equipment/voltron list with a Dwarf-tribal shell. Thorin's enters trigger turns Dwarf drops into Treasures, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw turns those tokens into a five-Treasure artifact tutor for the key equipment. Secondary paths are token pressure from Fili, Icon of Ancestry, and Patchwork Banner, plus a "Storied" engine that adds draw, ward, and extra Dwarf triggers. There is no hidden double-faced commander; Magda and Bruenor Battlehammer function as the hidden engine. Wins usually come from an equipped Dwarf hitting with double strike, often Dain Ironfoot or Reyav, then closing the table with consecutive commander-damage attacks.
