Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is an Elephant tribal and +1/+1 counters engine led by Hamza, Guardian of Arashin. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost creatures and distributing +1/+1 counters during the early turns to discount Hamza's casting cost. Once Hamza is on the battlefield, its static ability applies an aggressive cost reduction to all creature spells equal to the number of creatures you control with +1/+1 counters. This discount enables the deck to flood the board with massive, high-impact Elephant beaters for only their colored mana requirements. Supported by draw engines like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising, the deck maintains a steady stream of threats, turning combat into an overwhelming clock via mass trample and power multipliers. An incidental infinite combo between Cathars' Crusade and Herd Baloth provides an alternate win condition, though the deck primarily wins through crushing combat damage.
