Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma to accelerate large creature threats and overwhelm opponents through combat. The deck runs a dense package of low-cost mana ramp to deploy Goreclaw on Turn 3. Once Goreclaw is active, its static ability discounts creatures with power 4 or greater by two mana. This discount fuels explosive turns where large threats trigger draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Guardian Project, and Beast Whisperer to chain multiple massive creatures onto the battlefield. The deck converts broad board presence into game-ending attacks using overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, and Triumph of the Hordes. While it has limited stack interaction and lacks infinite combos, the deck provides strong resilience through protection spells like Heroic Intervention and independent mana generation from The Great Henge and Traverse the Outlands.
