Deck overview

This deck is a thematic Marvel Hero tribal midrange build led by Karolina Dean, Runaway. The strategy revolves around casting Karolina on Turn 4 to unlock 5 additional mana ({W}{U}{B}{R}{G}) at the start of every first main phase. Because this mana cannot be used to cast spells directly from hand, the deck leverages impulse-exile engines such as Jessica Jones, Private Eye, Daredevil, Man Without Fear, Chase Stein, Runaway, and Prosper, Tome-Bound, alongside Hero activated abilities and power-up costs. By Turn 6, the deck converts this mana velocity into a formidable board of flying, trampling, and anthem-boosted Heroes, supported by burn triggers from Nico Minoru, Runaway and Spider-Man 2099. While vulnerable to board wipes and hindered by a high tap-land count, the deck delivers steady combat pressure and high-synergy Hero beatdown.
