Deck overview

This is a thematic Dwarf tribal midrange deck built around Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. Dwarf entries create Treasures, and those artifact tokens increase the power of the tribe while paying for Equipment, activated abilities, and large follow-up plays. The deck adds value through Kíli the Resourceful, Balin, Loremaster, Dáin's Company, and Horn of the Mark, then tries to win through combat with Dáin of the Ancient Halls, Bifur, Melodic Rider, Thorin, Company's Leader, and Equipment such as Andúril, Flame of the West. Its curve is high and its access is only partial. It has useful removal and some protection, but no compact combo, reliable one-turn table kill, or total lockout. The ordinary game plan is to establish Thorin, build a Dwarf board, accumulate Treasures, and attack repeatedly. It is strongest in a slower table where combat engines can survive several turns.
