Ob-Nixilis the ping king by GRIEF

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-tempo Rakdos ping/storm deck built around Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The commander's ability triggers whenever one or more opponents each lose exactly 1 life, putting a +1/+1 counter on itself and exiling the top card of your library for later use. The deck floods the board with cheap "each opponent" pings-End the Festivities, Tectonic Hazard, Vicious Rumors-alongside passive damage engines like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Kessig Flamebreather to generate multiple triggers per turn. These triggers fuel card advantage through exile, which is further leveraged by Prosper, Tome-Bound, Shadow of the Goblin, and Birgi, God of Storytelling to chain spells. The primary win condition is a massive Grapeshot (storm) or an infinitely-powered Walking Ballista; backup lines include Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin growing into a lethal commander-damage threat with evasion from Rogue's Passage. The deck operates with a low mana curve (2.29) and a dense suite of interaction, aiming to overwhelm opponents with raw volume of triggers.
