K'rrik - Mine by Internationalsalsa

Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a mono-black, life-as-a-resource storm deck helmed by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. The entire game plan converts life total into black mana and card advantage, then detonates through one of several overlapping combo channels. The primary kill is an Ad Nauseam-fueled storm turn where Aetherflux Reservoir and Tendrils of Agony close the game, backed by a dense web of infinite life-drain loops (Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond family), Chain of Smog + Professor Onyx, and Necrotic Ooze lines. The deck is a tutor-and-draw powerhouse with ~20 pieces of fast mana, aiming to deploy K'rrik on turn 3 and kill on turn 4. It is a glass-cannon combo deck with enormous redundancy: 23 realizable combo lines, most of which live entirely in the 99 and function without the commander ever being cast.
