Deck overview

This Boros aggressive deck pairs Dwarf kindred synergies with Equipment support, led by Dwalin, Weaponmaster. Dwalin steadily scales the power of all controlled Equipment by placing hone counters whenever he enters the battlefield or attacks. The deck builds early board presence using low-cost Dwarves and Equipment, transitioning into consistent card flow via Sram, Senior Edificer, Kíli the Resourceful, and Tocasia's Welcome. As hone counters accumulate, every weapon grants massive power bonuses, turning low-cost creatures into lethal threats. Key payoffs like Bruenor Battlehammer, Magda, Brazen Outlaw, and Warleader's Call accelerate damage output and mana production through Treasure generation. The deck wins by pushing lethal combat damage across multiple combat steps, supported by evasion, extra combats from Aggravated Assault, and resilient recursion engines such as Forge Anew and Sevinne's Reclamation.
