Morfolk Deck by user6955057

Format: Commander

Commander: Nicanzil, Current Conductor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Simic Merfolk deck is built around Nicanzil, Current Conductor: every explore trigger both grows the commander and cheats extra lands from hand onto the battlefield. The primary plan is to play Nicanzil early, explore repeatedly with Jadelight Spelunker and Waterwind Scout's Map token, then use Thassa, God of the Sea to make Nicanzil unblockable and reach 21 commander damage per opponent. Secondary paths are a simple evasive Merfolk swarm (Gray Harbor Merfolk, Merfolk Spy, Phantasmal Dragon) with bounce and counters to clear blockers, and an Urza-based value engine when enough artifacts appear. No hidden commander; Urza is the only non-commander that can take over a game.
