Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Proliferate and Planeswalker control build commanded by Venser, Corpse Puppet. The primary strategy focuses on establishing early board presence with Venser and low-cost evasive creatures to seed counters—including poison, loyalty, stun, and +1/+1 counters—across the battlefield. Once initial counters are distributed, the deck leverages dense proliferate engines such as Flux Channeler, Inexorable Tide, Thrummingbird, and Ichormoon Gauntlet to rapidly advance planeswalker loyalty and tick opponents toward 10 poison counters or lethal life drain with Scheming Aspirant. A specialized 'Empower Jace' package accelerates planeswalkers toward game-ending abilities, notably Jace, Reality Sculptor's library-exiling ultimate. Supported by a robust suite of counterspells and spot interaction, the deck navigates the mid-game through defensive attrition, blunting opposing aggression before sealing the table around Turns 8 to 9.
