Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass and Ring-temptation midrange deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The core plan grows a single Orc Army through Sauron's passive amass trigger whenever opponents cast spells, then connects in combat to tempt the Ring and convert that into a discard-and-draw-four refill. A dense package of nine Nazgul, Lord of the Nazgul, and supporting Wraith payoffs turns every temptation into board-wide +1/+1 growth, while secondary amass engines (Dreadhorde Invasion, March from the Black Gate, Saruman, the White Hand, Warg Rider) keep the Army online even before the commander resolves. Reanimation (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Victimize, Living Death, Breach the Multiverse) and the other Sauron bodies in the 99 supply recursion and alternate threats. Wins come from wide, trample/menace combat, Assault on Osgiliath double-strike turns, and drain/finishers such as One Ring to Rule Them All and Peer into the Abyss.
