Deck overview

Glarb, Calamity's Augur leads a Sultai graveyard-value deck that uses surveil to fill the graveyard, ramp into and reanimate high-mana threats, and convert deaths into global drain. The primary plan is to deploy Colossal Grave-Reaver, Sheoldred, or Beledros early, then land Living Death or Dread Return with Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat/Syr Konrad on board. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Lord of the Nazgul provide alternate finishing routes. Glarb is not a combo piece; it is a cheap commander that smooths draws and seeds the graveyard while letting the deck cast mana-value-four-plus spells from the top. There is no hidden commander in the 99; the deck still functions if Glarb is answered, though slower.
