Deck overview

The Master of Lake-town is the single-faced commander the deck is built around: any life-loss event becomes mill, and the death trigger provides a late-game draw. The primary plan is to convert that command-zone trigger into a deterministic loop with Mindcrank and a charged Bloodchief Ascension. Secondary lines use Entomb/Buried Alive and Living Death/Rise of the Dark Realms to mass-reanimate drain creatures, with Gray Merchant and Syr Konrad as payoffs. There is no hidden commander. The deck is a resilient mono-black midrange/combo build that can also finish through Bloodletter of Aclazotz plus Unstoppable Slasher once it connects.
