Deck overview

Helmed by Averna, the Chaos Bloom, this is a Temur cascade-value deck that tries to turn every cascade trigger into mana and every spell cast from exile into more cascade triggers. The commander's one-line ability - putting lands from the cascade pile onto the battlefield tapped - supercharges the high-curve shell and feeds a deep landfall package (Tatyova, Benthic Druid, Omnath, Locus of Rage, Tireless Provisioner). The deck aims to chain Apex Devastator, Maelstrom Wanderer, Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty, and Wild-Magic Sorcerer-style effects into enormous sequences, backed by copy effects (Nalfeshnee, Mizzix, Replica Rider) and non-hand cast payoffs (Keeper of Secrets, Flaming Tyrannosaurus). It wins through hasty, trampling board presence plus incremental burn, with Mind's Desire, Aminatou's Augury, and Improvisation Capstone as high-variance finishers. There is no deterministic infinite combo; the deck is an explosive, board-centric value engine.
