Deck overview

This deck is a Boros aggro strategy that blends Dwarf tribal synergies with Treasure token production and Equipment support under Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The early turns establish a board presence using low-cost Dwarves such as Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Dwalin, Weaponmaster, and Kíli the Resourceful, supported by early mana rocks and utility Equipment. On Turn 5, casting Thorin initiates the deck's core engine: every Dwarf entering the battlefield creates a Treasure, and Thorin grants all other Dwarves a static power boost equal to the number of artifact tokens you control. By accumulating Treasures from attacks, Dwarf entries, and cards like Smothering Tithe, the deck rapidly inflates its combat damage. Combat threats like Dáin of the Ancient Halls, Bruenor Battlehammer, and Smaug the Magnificent convert this artifact wealth into game-ending pressure across subsequent turns. The list relies on functional creature redundancy and combat superiority rather than fast combo lines.
