Deck overview

Helmed by Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student, this Simic deck is a draw-matters value/control engine that flips into Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar and grinds toward alternate wins. The early game attacks with the 0/3 to Investigate and chains cantrips to hit the third-draw trigger. After the flip, landfall draw engines (Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Tatyova, Benthic Druid), extra land drops (Azusa, Lost but Seeking), and a proliferate package (Evolution Sage, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Flux Channeler, Deepglow Skate) scale planeswalker loyalty, +1/+1 counters, and Twenty-Toed Toad toward its one-shot attack win. Finishing lines include the Toad's trigger at twenty counters or twenty cards in hand, a Laboratory Maniac deck-out off the -7 emblem or an Omniscience draw chain, and bulky beats from Koma, World-Eater and Psychosis Crawler. It is a slow, tutorless, interaction-heavy build that wins through inevitability rather than a compact combo, and fast pods will punish that.
