Deck overview

This Sultai deck leverages Thranduil, the Elvenking as a central graveyard nexus and card-advantage engine. By combining dense low-cost Elf mana acceleration with targeted graveyard placement, the deck rapidly establishes an overwhelming board state. The primary win condition uses Buried Alive or creature tutors to place Devoted Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord into the graveyard. Thranduil inherits their activated abilities, allowing him to grow infinitely large, generate infinite mana, and sacrifice an infinitely large creature to Jarad's ability to drain all three opponents simultaneously. If the combo route faces heavy resistance, the deck pivots naturally into a traditional wide Elf beatdown strategy powered by Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Tyvar, the Pummeler, and asymmetric bounce spells like Raise the Palisade.
