Deck overview

This Grixis Spellslinger Storm deck harnesses Fire Lord Azula to turn combat into a high-velocity spell-copying engine. Azula provides {R}{R} upon attacking via firebending and copies every spell cast while she is attacking. The deck leverages this ability to double instant-speed rituals, card-draw spells like Big Score, and utility spells during the combat step, accelerating mana and hand size dramatically. The primary win condition is the compact two-card infinite combo of Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage, generating infinite hasty token copies to attack for lethal on the same turn. Alternatively, the deck can storm off using Underworld Breach, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Birgi, God of Storytelling, burning the table down with Guttersnipe or Vivi Ornitier. A robust suite of free and efficient interaction, including Fierce Guardianship and Force of Negation, shields the combo while disrupting opponents' critical turns.
