Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Voltron and equipment synergy deck commanded by Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain. The strategy revolves around assembling cost reducers, mana rocks, and high-impact equipment or auras in the early turns, then casting Arna on Turn 4 or 5. When Arna attacks while modified, its triggered ability doubles any counters on it and creates token copies of all attached nontoken permanents. This causes stats to scale exponentially while duplicating valuable utility effects like card draw, lifelink, and temporary exile auras. The deck supports this aggressive Voltron clock with efficient white and black single-target removal, protective equipment such as Mithril Coat and Hammer of Nazahn, and defensive spells like Clever Concealment. Without combo kills or extra combat phases, the deck relies on eliminating opponents one by one through flying commander damage, typically closing games around Turn 8.
