pirates by freescans1

Format: Commander

Commander: Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Malcolm and Kediss form an Izzet Pirate value engine: Kediss turns one Malcolm hit into damage against every opponent, so every successful Malcolm swing creates three Treasures. The deck floods the board with cheap Pirates, spends those Treasures on larger Pirates, Vehicles, and theft effects, then closes with a mass spell. Secondary paths are commander damage, a Treasure-fueled Rise and Shine, or stealing the table with Insurrection/Blatant Thievery. Breeches, Brazen Plunderer acts as a hidden backup commander, converting Pirate damage into exiled card advantage. The plan is proactive but not combo-driven; it relies on keeping the commander pair alive and finding one of the two mass finishers.
