Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal and combo-control strategy led by The Ur-Sphinx. The commander sits in the command zone providing an eminence discount that reduces the cost of all Sphinx spells by one generic mana. The early game focuses on explosive acceleration using fast mana artifacts like Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Chrome Mox to deploy mid-game engines ahead of curve. The primary win condition revolves around a compact infinite turn combo between Tivit, Seller of Secrets and Time Sieve. When Tivit enters or attacks, it creates five artifact tokens through its voting ability, which cleanly pays for Time Sieve's sacrifice requirement every turn. If this combo is disrupted, the deck pivots into an alternate infinite drain loop with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, or buries opponents in massive card advantage and flying pressure via Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Consecrated Sphinx.
