Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon tribal stompy deck commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Its primary game plan revolves around spending the early turns setting up mana rocks and Dragon cost-reducers, such as Dragonlord's Servant and Ruby Medallion. On Turn 5, the deck deploys Lathliss, followed immediately on Turn 6 by secondary Dragons to trigger her ability and flood the board with 5/5 flying Dragon tokens. The deck turns these massive fliers sideways to eliminate opponents through chunk combat damage, amplified by firebreathing abilities and explosive finishers like Terror of Mount Velus and Dragon Tempest. While the deck possesses immense aerial power and solid redundancy among its threats, it commits heavily to the battlefield at sorcery speed. This leaves it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers and tax effects that exploit its high average mana value.
