Deck overview

This deck is an Esper topdeck-matters midrange strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana rocks and topdeck sculptors such as Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter to prepare the library for Yennett. Once Yennett enters the battlefield and attacks on Turn 5, it triggers to cast massive odd-cost spells for free, including Breach the Multiverse, Void Winnower, and Toxrill, the Corrosive. These cheated threats create overwhelming board presence and asymmetric stax locks that suppress opposing development. The deck closes out the game through large combat damage swings over the next three turn cycles. While the deck boasts high-impact payoffs and flexible permanent removal, it relies heavily on Yennett surviving a full turn rotation without dedicated counterspell protection.
