Deck overview

This Esper flicker/reanimation deck is helmed by Aminatou, the Fateshifter, a self-contained blink engine that pairs exceptionally well with the deck's deep ETB toolbox and multiple infinite-combo lines. The primary game plan is to accelerate into Aminatou, then use her -1 ability to loop Felidar Guardian while a payoff like Altar of the Brood or Corpse Knight is on board, milling or draining all opponents in a single turn. A secondary reanimation axis-packing Buried Alive, Living Death, and a dense suite of cheap reanimation spells-allows the deck to assemble combos from the graveyard, often with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Phyrexian Altar or Displacer Kitten lines. The deck is a high-redundancy, tutor-rich engine that can pivot between flicker, reanimation, and midrange value as needed.
