Deck overview

This Jeskai deck leverages Optimus Prime, Hero // Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader at the helm of an aggressive artifact and +1/+1 counter midrange strategy. The early game accelerates mana through low-cost mana rocks and artifact cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Enthusiastic Mechanaut. By Turn 4, Optimus Prime enters the battlefield to establish a compounding bolster engine, distributing +1/+1 counters each end step and attack phase. Supporting permanents like Cayth, Famed Mechanist, Steel Overseer, and Kilo, Apogee Mind proliferate and scale the team. As the board widens, decisive payoffs like Herald of Secret Streams, Cyberdrive Awakener, and All Will Be One convert counter accumulation into unblockable damage and direct burn. The deck maintains high resilience through built-in recursion on Optimus Prime, broad hexproof/ward layers from Padeem, Consul of Innovation and Bronze Guardian, and asymmetric board wipes like Organic Extinction and Damning Verdict.
