Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu aggro build centered around Kaalia of the Vast. The game plan focuses on deploying Kaalia by Turn 4, protecting her, and declaring an attack on Turn 5 to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. High-impact payloads like Griselbrand, Terror of Mount Velus, and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames establish immediate offensive pressure, while utility creatures like Archfiend of Depravity, Drana and Linvala, and Angel of Despair disrupt opponents' boards. Because the deck relies on combat damage across three opponents without infinite loops, it eliminates the table over several turn cycles. The mana base runs standard ramp artifacts to ensure colored mana consistency for Kaalia. While explosive and threatening when left unchecked, the deck relies heavily on its commander to bypass high mana costs, making it vulnerable to well-timed spot removal, countermagic, and sweepers before an attack connects.
