Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Grixis combat and Dragon-tribal synergy list piloted by Goro-Goro and Satoru. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost haste creatures such as Glitterfang, Fleeting Effigy, and Banehound alongside early mana acceleration to reliably trigger the commander's ability on Turn 4. By dealing combat damage with creatures that entered the battlefield that turn, the deck generates 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens, branching attacks across multiple unblocked opponents to produce multiple tokens each rotation. Critical onset occurs on Turn 5, building an overwhelming aerial board state backed by Dragon synergies such as Dragon Tempest, Dragonhawk, Fate's Tempest, and Parapet Thrasher. The deck closes out games around Turn 7 via massive flying combat damage and asymmetric board wipes like Crux of Fate. While highly resilient to spot disruption through redundant cheap haste enablers, the list remains exposed to mass sweepers and lacks enchantment removal, relying on fast combat pressure to overwhelm opponents.
