Commander: Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose leads a mono-black lifedrain combo deck. The primary plan is to assemble an infinite drain loop by pairing Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with a lifegain payoff such as Vito, Sanguine Bond, or Marauding Blight-Priest, then using a cheap trigger like Creeping Bloodsucker's upkeep to start the chain. Secondary paths use Sorin Markov's life-total shrink, Bolas's Citadel card advantage, and big drain spells like Exsanguinate and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Vito acts as both a combo piece and a lifelink enabler. Emeritus of Woe effectively provides a second Demonic Tutor, giving the deck surprising search density. Fast mana and tutors push the goldfish toward turns 5-6, though the deck is fragile to instant-speed disruption and artifact-based hate.
