Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Alaundo the Seer, using a high-synergy Simic engine that converts tap and untap mechanics into massive tempo and card advantage. By pairing Alaundo with continuous untappers like Kelpie Guide, Vizier of Tumbling Sands, and Marvin, Murderous Mimic, the deck taps its commander multiple times per turn. Each activation draws a card, exiles a spell with time counters, and removes time counters from every other exiled card. This rapidly casts high-mana threats like Hullbreaker Horror, Koma, World-Eater, and Inkwell Leviathan for free while granting them haste. The deck protects its engine using flexible 1-mana untap spells that grant hexproof, such as Shore Up and Magic Damper. Once the engine starts rolling on Turn 5, it floods the board with giant trampling creatures and Kraken tokens from Ominous Seas, overwhelming opponents in combat by Turn 7.
