Deck overview

This Grixis deck is an optimized competitive Commander (cEDH) list engineered for rapid, well-protected combo victories. Led by Kefka, Court Mage, the deck leverages explosive fast mana such as Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Mana Vault, and dark rituals to establish commanding mana velocity. The primary plan executes a compact win condition by casting Thassa's Oracle and exiling the library with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact as early as Turn 2. The deck also features a premier secondary route in Underworld Breach paired with Lion's Eye Diamond and Brain Freeze to mill out opponents. An elite suite of free counterspells including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation protects combo turns while disrupting rival strategies. With universal tutors, graveyard recursion via Yawgmoth's Will, and hate pieces like Cursed Totem and Opposition Agent, the deck blends lethal speed with resilient backup plans.
