Deck overview

This deck uses Lathliss, Dragon Queen as its central Dragon-token engine. It ramps with Sol Ring, mana rocks, Dragon cost reducers, and Treasure makers, then deploys large Dragons that create additional bodies or convert creature entries into damage. Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, Warstorm Surge, and Crucible of Fire are the strongest payoffs, while Utvara Hellkite, Terror of Mount Velus, Hellkite Charger, and Scourge of the Throne support combat finishes. Ordinary execution reaches a usable commander-plus-Dragon engine around turn 7 and a must-answer board around turn 8. The deck's main limitation is access: it has little tutoring, no compact two-card win, and no stack protection. Removal and sweepers provide useful interaction, but they often trade away the Dragon board and do not create a lock. The deck is strongest when it curves ramp into cost reduction, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and repeated Dragon entries.
