Witherbloom, The Balancer by user5990646

Format: Commander

Commander: Witherbloom, the Balancer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Witherbloom, the Balancer leads a Golgari go-wide creature combo deck that exploits high token counts to discount expensive spells. By curving low-cost mana dorks and token producers like Bitterblossom and Weaponcraft Enthusiast, you rapidly build a wide battlefield. Casting your commander for just two mana gives all instant and sorcery spells affinity for creatures, drastically reducing the cost of massive finishers like Tooth and Nail, Finale of Devastation, and Last March of the Ents. You close out the game through explosive Craterhoof Behemoth combat damage, instant-speed Sprout Swarm buyback loops with Witherbloom Apprentice, or sacrifice combos fetched by Natural Order and Protean Hulk.
