Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a Hero typal midrange strategy led by Captain America, Team Leader. The core game plan focuses on casting the commander on Turn 3 and curving out with synergistic Hero creatures starting on Turn 4. Each Hero entering the battlefield immediately gains haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters, growing both the new threat and Captain America for immediate pressure. The deck leverages pillowfort pieces like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior to deter counterattacks while developing overwhelming aerial and ground pressure. Powerful payoffs like Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger, Professor Hulk, and Hulkbuster Armor accelerate damage output, while dense single-target and sweeper protection from cards like Mithril Coat, Mother of Runes, and Restoration Magic keeps the assault intact. The deck wins by systematically eliminating opponents over successive combat turns.
