Deck overview

This deck leverages Codie, Ravenous Codex as a five-color multiplier for creatures featuring the prepare mechanic. Because each prepare creature enters ready to cast a potent spell half, Codie immediately duplicates these spells upon casting. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through low-cost dorks and fixers like Bloom Tender and Cryptolith Rite. By Turn 4, the deck establishes Codie and multiple prepare creatures. On Turn 5, it chains doubled rituals like Blazing Firesinger // Seething Song into doubled card draw such as Emeritus of Ideation // Ancestral Recall, culminating in high-storm token swarms with Galathul Galecaller // Corvid Squall or Jadzi, Steward of Fate // Oracle's Gift. Supported by asymmetric board clear from Cyclonic Rift and plan shielding from Teferi's Protection, the deck sweeps opposing boards and attacks for lethal damage on Turn 6 across the entire table.
