Golgari Voltron by TsulKalu

Format: Commander

Commander: Glissa, the Traitor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari equipment/aura voltron deck built around Glissa, the Traitor. Glissa is an ideal suit-carrier: first strike plus deathtouch lets her win combat against nearly anything, and her triggered ability returns key artifacts from the graveyard every time an opponent's creature dies, granting built-in equipment recovery. The 99 is a dense pile of scalable equipment and auras - Blackblade Reforged, Nettlecyst, Staff of Titania, Colossification, Eldrazi Conscription - backed by mana dorks, land-aura ramp, and a counter/token subtheme with Doubling Season and Kami of Whispered Hopes. The primary win is commander damage: suit Glissa, make her trampling/unblockable/double-striking, and close with 21+ damage. Super State and Aettir and Priwen can convert a single large swing into a pod-killing blow. Secondary clocks include Scute Swarm landfall, planeswalker emblems from Garruk, Cursed Huntsman and Nissa, Who Shakes the World, and large trampling backup creatures.
