Deck overview

This deck is a Boros midrange strategy led by Quintorius, History Chaser, focusing on creating 3/2 Spirit creature tokens whenever cards leave your graveyard. The deck fuels this engine using looting effects, self-mill, and discard payoffs like Squee, Goblin Nabob, Containment Construct, and Currency Converter. Once the commander enters on Turn 4, it rapidly generates a wide token board while filtering through the library. In the mid-to-late game, the deck leverages recursion engines like Sun Titan, Sevinne's Reclamation, and Excava, the Risen Past to maintain overwhelming card advantage and board presence. It closes games around Turn 8 through wide combat pushes amplified by Quintorius's −4 double-strike ability, Hofri Ghostforge, or a resolved Moonshaker Cavalry. The list features robust creature removal and board protection via Guardian of Faith and Selfless Spirit, though it remains vulnerable to early graveyard hate and stack-based combo strategies.
