Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats and reanimator strategy helmed by Syr Konrad, the Grim. The primary objective is to leverage Konrad's unique triggered ability, which damages each opponent whenever creatures die, enter the graveyard from anywhere, or leave the graveyard. The deck fuels this engine using symmetric mill, sacrifice outlets like Altar of Dementia and Ashnod's Altar, and recursive creatures like Gravecrawler. Powerful reanimation spells, including Living Death, Breach the Multiverse, and Rise of the Dark Realms, double as mass board resets and instant lethal bursts. Secondary win conditions include an infinite drain combo with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood, as well as massive mana generation from Cabal Coffers into Torment of Hailfire. While the deck excels at creature attrition and card draw, it lacks answers for noncreature permanents and relies on proactive graveyard velocity to outpace opposition.
