Deck overview

This deck is an Esper big-mana and topdeck-manipulation strategy helmed by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan accelerates mana early with artifacts and rituals, arranges high-impact odd-mana-value spells on top of the library, and casts them for free when Yennett attacks. By utilizing topdeck sculptors such as Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, Jace, the Mind Sculptor, and Doom Whisperer, the deck cheats terrifying threats into play on Turn 5. These include asymmetric board suppressors like Void Winnower, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, and Toxrill, the Corrosive, extra turns via Expropriate and Temporal Manipulation, and mass recursion through Breach the Multiverse. Supported by efficient low-cost removal, draw engines, and a backup win condition in Demonic Consultation with Laboratory Maniac, the deck transitions rapidly from explosive midgame cheat triggers into insurmountable locks and decisive combat finishes.
