Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf-tribal deck built around self-mill as a second hand. The primary plan is to ramp with Elf Druids, cast Thranduil early, and trigger his draw-two ability with other legendary Elves while filling the graveyard with Elf cards. Thranduil then borrows the best activated abilities from graveyard Elves, such as Lathril's drain, Elvish Archdruid's mana, and Imperious Perfect's token generation. The finish is a wide Elf swarm, often assembled by Morcant's Eyes, finished by a huge trample effect like Overwhelming Stampede or Overrun. There is no hidden commander; even the transformable Trystan is a value piece rather than a secondary engine.
