Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Voltron Combat Reanimator strategy commanded by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The game plan revolves around leveraging Squall's Rough Divide ability, which grants him double strike whenever he attacks alone. Because Squall triggers on combat damage to a player, double strike allows him to trigger twice in a single combat, recurring up to two permanent cards with mana value 3 or less directly from the graveyard to the battlefield. The list maximizes this engine by stocking the graveyard with powerful Auras, Equipment, stax pieces, and edict creatures like Accursed Marauder, Bastion Protector, and Idolized. By locking down opposing interaction with Grand Abolisher, Drannith Magistrate, and Opposition Agent, Squall quickly scales his commander damage to eliminate opponents one by one while continually resurrecting protection and board suppression.
