Deck overview

This mono-red control deck utilizes Starke of Rath as a repeatable political and removal engine from the command zone. By combining Starke with untappers like Thousand-Year Elixir, artifact transmuters like Liquimetal Torque, and ownership enablers like Homeward Path and Bazaar Trader, the deck repeatedly destroys critical opposing permanents while retaining or reclaiming control of its commander. The midgame focuses on card velocity through wheels and damage punishment using indestructible reflectors such as Brash Taunter, Stuffy Doll, and Giggling Skitterspike. The deck finishes games through decisive, same-turn burst damage using Repercussion paired with high-damage sweepers like Blasphemous Act, or through an explosive Insurrection alpha strike.
