Deck overview

This Jund deck is led by Winter, Misanthropic Guide, combining group forced draw with punishing discard triggers and delirium-based hand size restriction. On each of your upkeeps, Winter forces every player to draw two cards. By stocking the graveyard with four or more card types, Winter reduces each opponent's maximum hand size to two or three cards, forcing them to discard surplus resources at their cleanup steps. The deck capitalizes on this mandatory cycle using a redundant suite of draw punishers (Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, Spiteful Visions) and discard punishers (Liliana's Caress, Megrim, Entropic Battlecruiser). Sudden burst spells like Dark Deal and Peer into the Abyss can instantly vaporize life totals. Graveyard recursion tools like Conduit of Worlds and Eternal Witness provide resilience against sweepers, allowing the deck to steadily choke opponents out of life and options.
