Deck overview

This mono-red deck is piloted by Thor, God of Thunder, focusing on a spellslinger and burn strategy enhanced by Equipment and damage-amplifying permanents. The primary game plan revolves around ramping smoothly into Thor on Turn 5, reclaiming a key noncreature spell from the graveyard upon entry, and casting noncreature spells to trigger Thor's ability, which converts spell mana value directly into targeted damage. Support creatures like Firebrand Archer, Kindlespark Duo, and Mysidian Elder add incremental table-wide damage, while cards like Artist's Talent and Hawkeye, Young Avenger scale damage output further. Equipment like Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor doubles Thor's combat and trigger damage to accelerate opponent elimination. While the deck possesses ample creature and artifact removal, it lacks countermagic, enchantment interaction, and fast mana, relying on steady burn over multiple turn cycles to close out games.
