Deck overview

This Sultai Lands and Graveyard deck harnesses Teval, the Balanced Scale to convert aggressive self-mill and land recursion into overwhelming battlefield advantage and burst damage. Early turns focus on accelerating mana through low-cost dorks, exploration effects, and land tutors while loading the graveyard using Hermit Druid, Mesmeric Orb, and dredge cards like Life from the Loam. Once assembled, Teval attacks to ramp lands directly from the graveyard while generating 2/2 Zombie tokens on every graveyard departure. The deck reaches a critical onset on Turn 5 by resolving mass land reanimation spells like Splendid Reclamation or Lumra, Bellow of the Woods alongside landfall token generators, or by casting Living Death to mass-reanimate key creatures. To close the game on Turn 6, it launches a lethal aerial assault powered by Wonder or activates Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to sacrifice a massive Lord of Extinction, dealing lethal direct life loss to all three opponents simultaneously.
