Deck overview

This deck is an Esper enchantress and pillowfort strategy commanded by Alela, Artful Provocateur. Its primary game plan is to accelerate mana using cheap mana rocks, deploy Alela by Turn 3 or 4, and chain low-cost artifacts and enchantments to create an evasive Faerie token army. While building this aerial board, the deck protects its life total using iconic attack-taxing permanents such as Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety. Massive card flow from Rhystic Study, Coastal Piracy, and Skullclamp keeps hands full of fresh spells. Anthems like Favorable Winds, Gravitational Shift, and Hallowed Haunting transform the 1/1 tokens into lethal beaters that close out the game over multiple combat phases. The deck features strong permanent removal and solid protection spells like Teferi's Protection, but lacks tutors, fast combo finishes, and dense countermagic, requiring patient board development to secure victory.
