Smaug by EmperorSaltine

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is built around Smaug the Impenetrable: self-damage outlets such as Pestilence, Cut Propulsion, and Self-Destruct turn noncombat damage into Treasures, which then fuel Revel in Riches or drain effects. Smaug the Magnificent acts as a hidden commander in the 99, rewarding those Treasures and adding an upkeep Treasure. Secondary paths are dragon beatdown with hasty dragons, Fiery Emancipation, and Desert Were-Worm extra combat, plus a Dawnsire/Pain for All damage combo. The commander is the engine, but the deck can still attack and generate value without it.
