Deck overview

This is a Bant Walls/Defender tribal midrange deck helmed by Arcades, the Strategist. The plan is straightforward: flood the board with high-toughness defenders, cast Arcades to convert them into attackers that smash for toughness and draw a card on every defender ETB, then close through combat. Backup enablers High Alert and Walking Bulwark keep the attack plan alive if Arcades is answered. Finishers include True Conviction (double strike + lifelink), Legion Loyalty (myriad), Akroma's Will, and the massive body of The Pride of Hull Clade. The deck leans on wall-based ramp (Axebane Guardian, Overgrown Battlement, Wall of Roots) and a modest interaction suite rather than combos or stax locks. It plays as a resilient go-wide beatdown strategy that grinds value off Arcades triggers while presenting an increasingly lethal board.
