Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Nekusar, the Mindrazer wheels-and-punisher strategy. The primary game plan is to force opponents to draw extra cards through symmetrical draw effects and wheel spells, then convert each draw into damage or life loss via Nekusar, Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, Phyrexian Tyranny, and similar pieces. The deck accelerates with rituals and mana rocks, deploys its commander and punishers, then chains wheels (Windfall, Whispering Madness, Magus of the Wheel, Dragon Mage) to burn the table out. Secondary win conditions include Triskaidekaphile (exactly 13 cards in hand), Niv-Mizzet, Parun + draw triggers, and Peer into the Abyss into a punisher. The deck is highly interactive, with a dense counterspell suite and free spells to protect its combo turns.
